Savannah L.

Savannah is an Air Force spouse with a professional background in sales, marketing, and brand growth leadership, specializing in community partnerships and business development. 

Originally from Florida, she enjoys fashion, exploring the Central Coast, attending community events, and spending time with her husband and their three cats. She is excited to connect with fellow military spouses and help foster a welcoming and supportive community for military families.

Amanda H. 

Amanda recently became an Army spouse after getting married in July 2025, then PCS’d to Monterey in April 2026. An educator by profession, she has lived and worked around the world since 2003, including in Japan, India, Singapore, and Germany. She is always on the lookout for a great café and firmly believes there’s no such thing as too much iced coffee along-side a plant-based sweet. Amanda and her husband now share life in Monterey and are loving the sunshine with their two cats, Nimbus and Poppy.

Chalitda is a financial advisor by day where she help people make better decisions with their money. She enjoys spending time with family, trying new foods, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and playing games.

Gabriela C.

Gabriela is a Brazilian Air Force spouse whose husband is studying at NPS. Back in Brazil, she is also a Brazilian Air Force officer with over 10 years of experience in planning, management, and budgeting in the public sector. She holds a degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Knowledge Management. She is currently on leave and looks forward to learning from and contributing to MBSC. She is enjoying the opportunity to make new friends and explore the United States, especially its national parks.

Lamiya B.

As a veteran spouse, Lamiya Brown supports the Monterey military community by building connections and staying actively engaged in service. She brings the experience of a federal employee along with a Bachelor’s in Business and an Associate’s in Law Enforcement, helping her approach every role with clarity and purpose. Her volunteer work in restorative justice reflects her commitment to creating safer and more supportive opportunities for local families.

Charlotte P.

Charlotte is a Navy spouse of nine years. She and her spouse recently moved to Monterey after spending six years in San Diego. By day she is a corporate recruiter and caffeine addict then a sweet treat and documentary fiend by night. You can also find her with her three dogs jamming out to K-Pop, reading romantasy books, or finding new places to hike and camp with her husband.

Emma R.

Emma is a Navy spouse who moved to Monterey from Hershey, Pennsylvania. She has just completed her MBA and is currently growing her experience within the entrepreneurship industry.

She enjoys all sorts of new activities but loves to meet new people, play volleyball or tennis, and when nearby an ice rink likes to figure skate. She is happy to be a part of the community.

Tara and her family moved to Monterey CA in the summer of 2021, from San Diego where they lived for almost 9 years. She has been working in the IT industry for almost 21 years and looks forward to working with MBSC.

She is currently working on her Masters in Information Technology Management and works for an MSP in San Francisco, CA.
She enjoys cosplaying, comics, hiking, and computer technology.
