PRESIDENT Megan T.Megan is a Marine Corps spouse who recently moved to Monterey from New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a licensed clinical social worker currently working in management for a military counseling program. For fun, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 pound Yorkie, taking long walks around Monterey, drinking mostly red wines, and exploring California. |
Vice President Theresa C.Theresa is a German Army spouse who recently relocated from Bavaria, Germany to Monterey. Prior to moving to the U.S., she worked as a financial controller at a large MedTech company in Germany. Outside of work, Theresa enjoys long runs along the California coast, planning future travel adventures, and discovering all that the Monterey Bay area has to offer with her husband. She is excited to connect with and support fellow military spouses while helping to build a welcoming and engaged community in Monterey Bay. |
Treasurer Chalitda H.Chalitda is a financial advisor by day where she help people make better decisions with their money. She enjoys spending time with family, trying new foods, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and playing games. |
Parliamentarian Kaylyn R.Kaylyn is a Marine Corps spouse from Washington. She works in finance and administration. When she's not crunching numbers, she enjoys weightlifting, reading, and drinking coffee (or wine after 5:00 PM).

Lamiya B.As a veteran spouse, Lamiya Brown supports the Monterey military community by building connections and staying actively engaged in service. She brings the experience of a federal employee along with a Bachelor’s in Business and an Associate’s in Law Enforcement, helping her approach every role with clarity and purpose. Her volunteer work in restorative justice reflects her commitment to creating safer and more supportive opportunities for local families. |

Publicity Chair: Emma R.Emma is a Navy spouse who moved to Monterey from Hershey, Pennsylvania. She has just completed her MBA and is currently growing her experience within the entrepreneurship industry. She enjoys all sorts of new activities but loves to meet new people, play volleyball or tennis, and when nearby an ice rink likes to figure skate. She is happy to be a part of the community. |

Webmaster Tara N. Tara and her family moved to Monterey CA in the summer of 2021, from San Diego where they lived for almost 9 years. She has been working in the IT industry for almost 21 years and looks forward to working with MBSC. |
